LOL - thanks, Olga! Pevensey Castle, just to the west of Norman's Bay, is somewhere I got taken to A LOT as a child....! It was originally Roman, then Saxon, and then come 1066 of course the Normans were on the scene. These days that patch of coastline is full of beachgoers enjoying themselves - even early yesterday morning families were setting up camp for their day by the sea. Gorgeous!
Running on sand is tough (I personally hate it haha) but at least being near the beach you get to go for the dip which is the best feeling after a hot run 😃
I haven't done very much running on sand, but I certainly prefer solid ground! The sand was thankfully wet and firm, so at least I didn't break an ankle! 🤣
