🤣 You're right, you know - it IS important! But only because it's the 25th anniversary of the run in question... so this year's finishers will get to KEEP their engraved-to-mark-the-occasion beer glass! (Okay, I'm also looking forward to drinking its contents, I'll be honest with you... IF I make it to that finish line!)
I spent the last half hour getting caught up on your jog log Rebecca! You are SO GOOD! Take a little pride in your determination! You got this! As for me, after half hour of following your exercise, I had to sit down and rest over a cup of restorative tea. Whew! Wore me out. Go Rebecca!
I adore the description of a runner’s (rower’s) high. Yep, you’ve got this in the bag. I sincerely hope that the weather on the day will be kind for you! I’ll put in an order for good weather now. 😏
Thanks, Beth! The weather is always a big feature of this local run - either it's absolutely pouring, or it's far too hot for comfort. On the two previous occasions I've run it it has been the latter... please order weather that is dry and not too hot! 🙌 Much appreciated! 😘😉
Onward! Way to go and I 100% relate to finding one's stride or cadence or rhythm after one gets going. My brother, the Boston Marathoner, always suggests pretending one is shaking hands with a hill when one encounters it, regardless of how steep or not steep the grade. I'm cheering you on!
Oooooh, shaking hands with a hill - I shall remember that! Thanks so much, Mary!
Actually I encountered some hills today - flipping heck! Mind you, that was walking, not running. Wish I'd known to shake their hands instead of huff and puff at them!
Well you can run to one pub and get a pint and then run to the other pub and get another pint.
Problem solved. *BG*
Yes. Great incentive. You and me, Olga. Rebecca can run it, you and I will drive. It is the pint that is important.

Oh! You will! YOU WILL! Just keep thinking of that PRIZE!
LOL - I think you could be on to something, Olga!!!

🤣 Tea is EVERYTHING, Sharron! Thank you so much for reading, and for following this journey!
