I love it that you turned around and went back out into the rain to deliver the entry. THAT shows commitment.! Of course.... now that you have told every body, you really are going to have to do this.
LOL! And bother... you're right... there's no backing out now! Grateful that it's not a marathon*!
*I SO wouldn't do a marathon. I broke my foot while training over-zealously for a half - so I already know that 13.1 miles is about 10 miles too many.... 🤣
I didn't know you were afraid of dogs. Personally, I don't like big dogs. I'm worried about them jumping on me too. A couple of weeks ago, a guy from the building had his dog unleashed and I was going out to the car for work. The dog noticed me and started turning back toward me. I yelled, "No!" and he called the dog off. Crisis averted. 😃
Only kidding: you're right, and I'm glad I've made the commitment! And if all else fails I can always walk it - there will be many people who'll be doing that, so I'll be in good company!
Nice move to say 'No!' to that dog. I've never done that - perhaps I will do that next time. Good tip!

Good decision! ANY jog is better than no jog.
4km on day one! That's excellent for a walk run.
I see that you're fully committed now, having dropped that envelope in the slot!
Thanks, Donna! It's early days, though... right? 😉🤣
No going back now.

'No going back now' - blimey, Matt! 😉

I am so excited for you!
Me too, Amie - thank you! 😊
