Bless you for the Sound of Music opener. Full. Body. Chill. At that opening moment with Julie twirling on the mountainside. Has any movie ever opened better? I don’t think so!

Thanks for sharing, Terry and catching us up Rebecca. Llaughing a llot!

Also, the fella that sealed our driveway patched an errant pothole and was severely reprimanded for same. The local government doesn't need yer help with the byways.

'Llaughing a llot!' - LLOL!!! 🤣

Wow for your very own personal pothole experience - kudos to the fella! Am most impressed. I know that rules is rules, but hey, why not?

Bathday! I caught that too. I thought it was just another British expression that I was unfamiliar with.

Naaaaah, reckon that was a full-on Terryism, Jim! 🤣

I've said that on cards to friends and family members, and you and Him are the first people to notice, or at least to say anything 😂

Llove it. Thanks so much. Annual baths, filled-in potholes and Julie Andrews. What more could anyone ask for? Happy sigh. 🤗🤗🥰

🙂 thanks Rebecca! I remember an old Bill Cosby tale where he would be driving along with his buddies in a car. They would be speeding along past a sign and the driver would remark, "what'd that sign say?" The passenger would reply, " that sign said bump"--THUD. . .aaarrrgh!

"You are clearly trying to distract my attention from its contents: those three cats..." You know, that was my suspicion, too, Rebecca. "Because, crosswords? The ones you featured are beyond cross: they’re bordering on livid!" Hilarious word play. I so loved your comment on "bath day". I was going to comment on that when I first read it, but then decided I have heckled dear Terry too much already. Bath or no bath, I love him. And I love you.

Oh Sharron, thank you so much for this fabulous comment! And LOL - I'm pretty sure that Terry enjoys being heckled. 😉 I hope so - he gets plenty of heckling from me....!

Oh, Wales looks llovelly! (I will add my double l to everyone else's). It really is such a beautiful, musical language. Thank you for not including Jaws. I prefer my tea in my mug.

The scenery - and llanguage 😉 - are soooo beautiful! And LOL re not including Jaws! 🤣 I do love a scary fish movie, don't get me wrong - but to foist one on my unsuspecting readership without due warning would of course be a step too far! 🤣 Thanks so much for your lovely comment!

Oh, Rebecca! Your mention of me made me smile like a Cheshire. :-) Awwww. You're too kind. Golly. Love your post as well. Reading your posts is like watching the best movie while reading the best book while listening to the best soundtrack while eating the best snacks and enjoying the best beverage.

Such a pleasure, Mary! I really enjoy your posts: reading about where your bike trips take you, the fact that you take your secateurs along to clear the branches that overhang your route (I'm know that other cycle path users must really appreciate you!), your snaps of sunsets and sweet treats, and of course your beautiful art!

And thank you so much for your very kind words about my posts! So lovely! 😊

Beautiful scenery. Never seen "The Sound of Music". Have watched "Jaws".

I think that was Terry's bag. He's just embarrassed to tell us. 🤣

That is one long word. I would hate to have to pronounce it. According to dictionary.com, the longest English word is: (methionylthreonylthreonylglutaminylarginyl…). At over 180,000 letters long, the chemical name of the protein titin is often said to technically be the longest English word. If spoken out loud, this word takes over three hours to say!

Thanks, Matt! And I'm pretty sure you're right about Terry's handbag! 🤣

Wow - I had no idea that there was an English language word with that many letters - that's absolutely crazy! You'd have to brace yourself if THAT came up at the spelling bee..... 🤣
