Handedness! Right-handed people have no idea the inconvenience we lefties face, upside down pencils is just the beginning. Scissors, can openers, tongs, thermometers, etc I remember you posted a wonderful article on the subject. Why not bring that back around!
I have never mastered the art of decent scissoring! The thing is, I first learned to cut - sorry, ‘cut’, because I am unable to cut properly - using standard right-handed scissors, where I have to sort of pull back as I cut in order to get the blades to engage - and I still can’t do it neatly. As for left-handed scissors - well, I can’t get them to cut AT ALL, probably because I’ve trained myself to use right-handed scissors with my left hand. I’m useless, honestly!
I use pencil sharpeners upside-down and backwards. I can’t imagine a left-handed thermometer, though!
As for pockets in clothing - what use is a pocket in the LEFT sleeve of my running jacket?! No use at all, for the record!
I feel your pain - especially with that useless pocket. I have a new one-handled faucet on my kitchen sink. The faucet handle is on the right side of the spigot. Impossible to maneuver with the left hand without running water down your cuff..
Oh wow, Elizabeth, just wow - thank you SO, SO much for that link! I love Webber’s Pië Jesu, and gosh, what an incredible voice! I’m glad I had my hanky up my sleeve watching and listening to that - what a treat. x
" my writing confidence has grown" - Rebecca! You are one of the most confident writers in my book and a maestro of language and write with such flow that sometimes I feel like I'm on that river in the Boogie book. Your confidence comes across "loud and clear" (could that be a clue in a crossword puzzle?) and as it matures, it mellows. Thanks for the mention in the left-handed section 😁, btw. Part of drawing my pens the upside down left handed proper way, is due to a drawing instructor's advice to "just draw what's in front of you". My pens are always in their left-handed-at-the-ready, so upside down is upside right for me. 😄 Merry Christmas, too.
Happy sigh. Merry Christmas dear Rebecca. And thank you so much for that gift of Aled singing with himself! What a voice.
Awww, thank you, Beth! Merry Christmas! 🎄 Aled is amaaaaaaaazing - it’s wonderful that he has kept singing as an adult. Just glorious! 🙌

Ugh! That’s sooooo annoying!
A contract. Hahaha!!! That one was my favorite.
Glad you felt seen and appreciated in your class, Rebecca. It's the little things, right?
You might enjoy this, but you may also have seen it before. So amazing! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5R1OFpv3bss -- I hope your holidays are everything you wish for.
