The project: A month-long stint of pounding the fields and lanes of Sussex in my hapless and ill-advised attempt to complete a quintessentially English 5k race between two local pubs. Yes, a pint of beer awaits every finisher!
Dear Reader,
This edition of the Jog log 🏃🏻 comes to you with this weather warning:
I decided the moment I opened my eyes this morning that I was not going out in this! Although we’re around ten miles inland from the coast of southern England, it is remarkably windy here today.
With my walking and running routes all lined with large trees in full leaf growing in saturated ground in gale-force winds, today’s Jog log 🏃🏻 exercise session was delivered again by YouTube.
Made sense, right?
I started with this one from Team Body Project – it’s another of my favourites. I call it the ‘Stevie workout’ for its epic routine, second in the running order, to Stevie Wonder’s ‘Superstition’.
And then – because I wanted to literally put one foot in front of another for a bit, in the spirit of running even if not actually running – I found a quick routine from Get Fit With Rick, in which I gather I accomplished 1600 steps. I didn’t count them myself, but Rick’s handy screen counter did. Thanks, Rick!
It’s nice to have these additional tools in my armoury when the weather isn’t playing nicely. I hope to get outside again for a run tomorrow, but if not, hey, I’ll still have my screen, my roll-out mat and – if it’s going to stick around – my new-found get up and GO!
Thanks for reading, and I’ll see you tomorrow!
Love,
Rebecca

I am glad that you didn't go out to run as you might have been blown away!
Oh and I was waiting for the part where the other ankle weight flew off and almost hit the tv. Ha ha!
Good thing it didn't. :).
You're doing great with all of this. And I also appreciate your posts in regards to this.
Well done. The weather’s all over the place at the moment. Much safer inside. And more videos for us to have fun with! Good on you. Hugs dear Rebecca. 🤗🤗🌼
