The project: A month-long stint of pounding the fields and lanes of Sussex in my hapless and ill-advised attempt to complete a quintessentially English 5k race between two local pubs. Yes, a pint of beer awaits every finisher!
Dear Reader,
One thing I love about using the Water Rower for my daily exercise stint once in a while is that I can build up my stamina.
Yesterdayβs run was great, but Iβm becoming frustrated with my propensity to slow too often to a walk. Iβm not yet up to running any more than about a kilometre at a time before I need either to pause or to walk for a moment or two, but I can keep going on the rowing machine for 25 minutes.
Well, towards the end of my 25 minutes today Iβd noticed that I still had some way to go to hit 5,000 metres on the rower, and with just two minutes left in which to get there, I increased β and sustained β my 26.5 strokes per minute to 33.
5,003 metres in 25 minutes. Phew!
Thank you so much for following the Jog log ππ»! Iβll see you tomorrow.
Love,
Rebecca

Should there ever be a water rowing competition, I think you'd be a cinch for it. :).
