The project: A month-long stint of pounding the fields and lanes of Sussex in my hapless and ill-advised attempt to complete a quintessentially English 5k race between two local pubs. Yes, a pint of beer awaits every finisher!
Dear Reader,
It’s just over a calendar month until the local pub-to-pub 5k race in support of a local community organisation, so is now the time for me to step up and start running again?
With the calf muscles that could sharpen steel just five years ago now a distant memory, is there any hope of my achieving top – sorry, middling – 5k fitness in a little under five weeks?
Well, I’ve filled in the entry form and found a tenner to pay the fee, and if I’m still in this crazy ‘I CAN DO THIS’ mindset in the morning, perhaps I’ll even post it through the Race Director’s door.
Or will I have changed my mind by then…? 🤔
Do join me on my journey!
Love,
Rebecca

You can do this! Remember the little engine that could!😉
You go, Rebecca! If you can do it, I will read it. From the safety of my armchair.
