The project: A month-long stint of pounding the fields and lanes of Sussex in my hapless and ill-advised attempt to complete a quintessentially English 5k race between two local pubs. Yes, a pint of beer awaits every finisher!
Dear Reader,
After a very busy few days at work I felt that going for the run I wanted to do would take too much time out of a day on which I really need to catch up on things at home. Instead of pounding the lanes around the village, then, Iβve rowed 5km on the Water Rower.
Tomorrow is a pretty big deal for me: Iβm changing my insulin pump to an entirely different make, model and indeed format β tubeless rather than tubed β and the words βNEW PUMP DAY!β looming large on the calendar square for tomorrow are encouraging me to spend my day familiarising myself with the new system. Iβm going to be nose-deep in several manuals in preparation for tomorrow, so if you see me hanging out on Substack too much, please call me out on it! π
Hope Iβll get the time to see you back here tomorrow!
Love,
Rebecca
