The project: A month-long stint of pounding the fields and lanes of Sussex in my hapless and ill-advised attempt to complete a quintessentially English 5k race between two local pubs. Yes, a pint of beer awaits every finisher!
Dear Reader,
Does a gentle 7.7km walk to the pub on a sunny Saturday lunchtime count towards my 5k training? π
And another 4.5-ish one on a sunny Sunday morning? (No, not to the pub!)
Normally a solo exerciser, it was nice to have some company for a change. I reckon Iβll be on my own for my last-ditch (I hope daily) running practice next week, though.
That race is looming, and I need to pump some miles into β and then out of! β those legs of mine!
Love,
Rebecca

Yes, they count. Thatβs more than twice the required mileage. Your body understands the task. All will be well. Please donβt overdo it this last week! Have fun dear Rebecca. Sounds like you had a wonderful weekend. π€π€π
